Yesterday, I started a new Minecraft hardcore world, as I died in mine a few days ago. So I logged in this morning and I couldn't see anything but my hotbar and the world around me was darkness. I will attach files of what it looked like when I'm done with the bug report. This same thing happened to my last one but it fixed itself over the time of a vacation I took. Thats was a 1.15.2 version world, while this one is a 1.16.1 world. When I hit F5 to go into 3rd person mode, it shows nothing, however I can open my inventory and that confirms im there. Could it be because of OptiFine? Could I be using the wrong version of java? I'm not sure! Anyway Mojang is a great company and has provided me with 7 years of entertainment that never gets old!

Your game, launcher and/or server is modified.
If you can reproduce the issue in a vanilla environment, please create a new ticket.
Any non-standard client/server/launcher build needs to be taken up with the appropriate team, not Mojang Studios or the Bugtracker.
Any plugin or resource pack issues need to be addressed to the creator of the plugin or resource pack.
If you have problems on large servers, such as The Hive and Hypixel, please contact them first as they run extensively modified server software.
