Import/Export Settings Crashes Game on Mac Mojave

Clicking Import/Export Settings crashes the game on MacOS Mojave. I get the colored pinwheel and have to use Force  Quit to be able access my computer again. Upon doing that the launcher puts up: An error has caused the game to crash, we're sorry for the inconvenience. So I can't even use custom JSON files. Issue is reproducible - It happens every single time I click the button. Yes, I'm using PureDBCtaft x128 as a resource pack, no mods, np data packs. Also, I've had to allot 4 of 8 gigs of memory to Minecraft to work properly. Do I have to allocate more to solve this issue?

When I tried to upload the launcher log, it told me I couldn't upload it because I didn't have some sort of key, and I don't know what that means but it wouldn't let me upload it.

That is not the correct log, please follow the instructions in the link I sent.

Now, according to my launcher the latest release is 1.16.2 and for some reason I can't find or access 1.16.1. Snapshots and historical are off and when I get to the main menu my resource pack is gone and I have to click buttons multiple times for them to register so I can't even get to import/export settings. The last time this issue happened I had to allocate more memory to Minecraft. I have already allocated 4 of my 8. Did they release 1.16.2 today? All of the multiplayer servers I play are 1.16.1 This is getting frustrating

1.16.2 has released about an hour ago, yes - you can use the launcher to change back to 1.16.1 by changing the version in your Installation using the "Installations" tab.

Please check if a full reinstallation of the game fixes the issue.

5 of 8 RAM allocated does not fix clicking issue. I don't think it's my mouse, it works fine everywhere else

Now the import/export settings chooser comes up but keeps popping up over and over. This just gets more weird the more we look into it.

Please check if that's still an issue for you in the latest 1.16.4 stable release or the latest 1.17 development snapshot.
