Sitting too low in minecarts

When I sat in a minecart when the rails were placed in a certain way, I sat way too low in it.

What I expected to happen was...:
To sit in the minecart, well, normally.

What actually happened was...:
I sat way too low in the minecart, and could only see my head.

Steps to reproduce:
1.Place a minecart on a slanted rail
2.Get in the minecart
3.Move your minecart off the rails(e.g. with a button, "W" button...)

I knew that the sitting too high in minecarts was too high before, but now its too low!
