Players Sink Into Minecrarts

When placed on a slanted surface the minecart does not act as if it's a level above you. Instead the player enters the minecart and ends up sitting as if it's on the same level as you. This occurs in creative as well as survival. Screenshots were taken in creative for simplicity's sake, but the bug was discovered in survival.
