[MC-199728] When Joining new world item appears from last

So What I did was:

had 1 world I deleted that world. It put me in the new world section automatically (like its meant to) then made the world with no setting changes besides game mode creative, and difficulty peaceful. then hit create. it made it fine but WHAT happened! In the spot where my hand was (Bottom Right Corner) it was the item I was holding before I deleted the world before (The deleted one). I know thus used to occur in alpha but never before 1.16.2 (except before alpha) WEIRD!

A moderator has already resolved this report, so you don't have to delete it or anything like that (it's not possible to delete your own report).

This is a known bug even without OptiFine (it has nothing to do with OptiFine). We'll just have to wait and see if that bug gets fixed (you can click here --> MC-9232 to see that report and check back every once and a while to see what's going on with it).

Also, one more thing: reports tested in OptiFine will almost always be resolved as Invalid. OptiFine is a major modification to the game, and so any bugs found using it are resolved. Make sure that you test any bugs in plain vanilla Minecraft before reporting them in the future. (If you find an issue with OptiFine and not vanilla, you can report it here.)
