My skin (one of many that I've used before...not the default Alex skin), before tonight, seemed to be working fine. I decided before playing tonight, that I wanted a different skin, found what I wanted, uploaded it, and went into the game.
The skin showed up for about three seconds, then disappeared to a plain white form. Armor showed up, but no actual skin features (photo uploaded). I've made sure the correct skin is also set as the current skin, through the launcher, but nothing works. I've been in and out of the game numerous times, and tried just leaving the game on to see if the skin ultimately loads. It does not.
In order to change back to the default Alex skin, I've gone to my log-in at minecraft.net and reset my default skin, on the SLIM setting. That works. I get to be the original Alex with no problem at all.
As soon as I go back there and upload a different skin (all ones I have used before–including the one I was using just previous to trying to make the change), I get the same, squared, white ghost again.

This additionally looks to be a duplicate of MC-101935, which was later resolved as "Works As Intended". Just to further inform you, this issue is occurring because your clothes layer isn't transparent. Simply make it transparent, to fix the problem. See the duplicated link for further details.
