Pressure plates drown out the sound of note blocks!

I create rooms filled with note blocks, which play a song as you walk along a path. This is nice, because the viewer can look at scenery specifically designed for the song that slowly plays. Sure, I could make it automated with repeaters, but that's not the point.

The infernal pressure plates completely overpower the sound of the notes! This is highly unnecessary, to the point where I would classify it as a "bug" (more accurately, a misjudgment). This ruins the experience of activating note blocks. We don't need to hear the clicks that loudly. Please make it at least 1/3rd the current volume.

That is all. Thank you for your time. Keep up the good work!

Feature requests should go on the Minecraft Forums. A workaround could be to go into the sound files and changing the .ogg for the pressure plate click sound or have the noteblocks activated by only one pressure plate and the rest by redstone/repeaters while the player walks or rides a minecart.

I wouldn't say that this is a "feature request", but I will try posting there as well. I was only posting this here in hopes that there would be a future patch to lower the click volume. I already realize the alternatives, and was simply pointing out something that needs to be fixed. This issue is annoying enough to where it should be considered a "problem" if I'm not allowed to call it a bug.

I agree, pressure plates are very loud
