Not sure if this is a bug report or a feature suggestions. If it is a suggestion, please use the forums.
Confirmed. Might be a directional thing though.
Agree with Joss Eden, fire doesn't hurt zombie pigmen (or any other Nether mob), they do not take damage from it, thus they will not become aggravated.
They will only make changes to the new launcher so if you insist on using the old launchers, you will have to deal with the problem.
The translators at CrowdIn have already translated it, but it hasn't been voted yet, so I guess it hasn't been implemented in the game yet?
The Minecraft Wiki was probably written confusingly. They probably meant to say:
"Bats are the only passive mobs which cannot be attached to a lead. Any mobs which naturally despawn (such as the squid) will still despawn even if they are attached, unless the mob was named with a Name Tag."
Feature suggestions should be on the Minecraft Forums. You could always use the command /time set day
to set the time back to day or /gamerule doDaylightCycle false
to stop the time from changing. Alternatively, use /effect @p 16 1000000
to give yourself the Night Vision effect for 1000000 seconds (around 11.57 days).
Confirmed for player inventory on horses, but not for extra storage on donkeys and mules.
Is it a lighting thing? I couldn't reproduce it even in a storm at night
I don't think that is the issue being encountered since the description says that it seemed to be an open area and not a chunk error. To me, it seems from the description to be more like an invisible block that being run into, though I'm not sure that is an SSP bug. It would be nice to have some more details...
Feature requests should go on the Minecraft Forums. A workaround could be to go into the sound files and changing the .ogg for the pressure plate click sound or have the noteblocks activated by only one pressure plate and the rest by redstone/repeaters while the player walks or rides a minecart.
I agree with Neospector for the first part, they shouldn't disappear since they are not obtainable through any other means, they must be deliberately obtained through commands. Having them disappear automatically would just be counterproductive since they could be used either functionally or decoratively in custom maps.
For the second part, I couldn't reproduce what was given in the "steps to reproduce." (Maybe you missed a step since going through a Nether portal shouldn't make you end up in the overworld in the first place.) However, when I went through the single Nether portal block in the End, the Nether didn't load until I reloaded the world (or it may have been just very laggy). I went into another single Nether portal block again to see if it would take me to an invisible overworld, it seemed to, but it loaded very quickly.
Although the strong possibility that they may all be the same bug - that sounds are continuing to play after it should have stopped - there are still a few differences so the syllogism cannot be made, since the continuation of the sound may not be distributed among the causes. For one, the fact that the ones I've mentioned were not merged into one ticket and that one was resolved and two were not shows its logical fallacy.
Despite all this jargon, I will not eliminate the possibility that these are the same bug, nor will I. (Not that I am able to do anything if I did anyway. 😉)
