Steps to Reproduce:
1.Get map and resource packs from here http://www.youtube.com/watch?annotation_id=annotation_637849&feature=iv&src_vid=_3H_50OYc5I&v=5ZeODQJAzRM

2. After you are teleported wait for the man to start talking.

3. While the man is still talking hit "Esc" and "Save and Quit to title."

And the man is still talking.

The song it coming from the note block at x: -1132 y: 57 z: -185

~~The resource pack changes the original sounds you have in Minecraft. Switch back to the default pack. Works as Intended.~~
Had to read the other ticked to understand the problem. Likely not intended.

Is this still a concern in the current Minecraft version? If so, please update the affected versions in order to best aid Mojang ensuring bugs are still valid in the latest releases/pre-releases.

Applies also for the built-in sounds like an angry Enderman.

Minecraft 1.6.1 and 1.6.2 still get same issue. Sound keep playing when player pause game or even go to main menu by saving world.
