I'm not sure if this is just an engine limitation or a bug but I decided to make an issue about it to find out
I'm sure everyone knows about this: the Enderman growl sound only plays at the location the Enderman was angered at, instead of the sound effect following with the player as they move
It doesn't seem intended, considering the sound only plays at one location, instead of following the player or the enderman. So perhaps it's an engine limitation?

I think the game just enter the following command:
/playsound minecraft:entity.enderman.stare hostile @a
at the location of the enderman when he angered
My original post was "moving with enderman" but I changed it to "moving with the player" because that's where you actually hear the sound.Β The enderman I think is too far away to hear.
But yeah Idk it should at least be changed for sure. So it doesn't just play at a random location without the audio source never moving with the player or the enderman.

It should move with the enderman not with the player.
