Game crashes when I finish crafting and item.

I used to be on a server with friends. My friend would attempt to craft something and immediately after the crafting was done, his game would crash. I thought this was an issue with the server at first, so we started a new one. We got decently far into the game, and I try to craft more sticks. My game exits to the home screen and shows a saving bar at the top of my screen. Then, my game crashes and reports it as an error. I thought that it was a 1 time glitch, but it occurred every time I would try to craft. I am not sure how this happened but I hope you guys can fix it soon
