Realms - Client Incompatible

Cannot access Realms, I've tried deleting the launcher, a full reset of my computer' simply repairing the launcher and numerous other things but it says that the client is still incompatible, I cannot get 1.16.3, multiple times its said that its updating but still not available to to me, however I've played realms on a 'old' version before with no issue, this is the first time its happened and has been an issue for almost a week now
