Hello! My name is Dylan and I would like to report a bug. So I have noticed when I attack a hoglin, some piglins come after me too and some are able to push me away, like knockback 2 on a sword. This has only happened three times, but on different worlds, on Minecraft Java Edition. If you would please check it out, that would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Piglins can have Knockback on their swords, furthermore, Hoglins inflict strong knockback on the player when they hit you. Does that explain what you are experiencing?
