The notification for the new launcher is still present when 1.5.2 is launched with the new launcher.

Is this still a concern in the current Minecraft version? If so, please update the affected versions in order to best aid Mojang ensuring bugs are still valid in the latest releases/pre-releases.
This bug still applies to the latest version of the launcher and 1.5.2. The bug never applied to 1.6.1 or 1.6.2.
