I patched a hole in a cave by using lava and water. When all lava disappeared bug occured. Cannot be fixed by placing anything, only world reload works.

This report actually appears to be a duplicate of MC-172980, which hasn't yet been resolved. If you have any additional information to provide regarding this issue, feel free to comment on the parent ticket.
