[MC-201138] Fishing lure reels in by itself before fish can arrive.

This has been happening to me since 1.16 and I see MCCE-3270 from years ago about the same topic but was never resolved. Everyone on our servers are affected by this. It happened right after the 1.16 release...I believe it fixed itself in 1.16.1/.2 because I was able to fish again with no issues - but now in 1.16.3 it is happening again. Cast the lure and after about 10 - 15 seconds with random timing it simple reels back in unprompted.

Your server is modified. Can you reproduce this in pure vanilla?

Your game, launcher and/or server is modified.
If you can reproduce the issue in a vanilla environment, please create a new ticket - this is a bug tracker for the game, and not a support website.

Any non-standard client/server/launcher build needs to be taken up with the appropriate team, not Mojang Studios or the Bugtracker.
Any plugin or resource pack issues need to be addressed to the creator of the plugin or resource pack.
If you have problems on large servers, such as The Hive and Hypixel, please contact them first as they run extensively modified server software.
