Sugar Cane Growing in Air

If the Random Tick Rate if quite high and you place sugar cane down and break it on the bottom, it will start flying up and dropping over 3 stacks of cane, this causes lag and I believe this is a bug. from what I can tell the sugar cane grows on top of another and then the bottom one breaks and one grows on top and this keeps going to build limit.
