The Bug
The "attached_pumpkin_stem" and "melon_stem" textures resemble their pre-texture-update counterparts. This is likely because JAPPA forgot that there were individual textures for both pumpkin and melon stems.
Observed Result
The textures for the attached pumpkin stem and melon stem were the same as the pre-1.14 textures
Expected Result
The textures for the attached pumpkin stem and melon stem would be updated

@unknown, are you sure? The corresponding opposite texture files (attached_melon_stem, pumpkin_stem) were updated correctly. Now the contrast of the stems changes as they get attached and detach, seemingly turning into the other stem.
How can this be intended? Pumpkin stems reverting to an old texture design doesn't seem an intentionally designed feature... and the same applies to melon stems, in reverse. I'd get it if pumpkin and melon stems had consistently different textures throughout all of their growth stages, but this is not the case
