Random punctuation marks are disrupting all game text

When I logged in to minecraft just now, all of the text being displayed had random punctuation marks in between every character. I do not know how or why this happened. I was using a modified "faithful 32" texture pack converted into a resource pack if that matters. I was playing and had edited one save using both MCEdit and NBTExplorer earlier, then logged on an hour later and this occurred.

I am deeply sorry if I messed up while reporting this bug and the format is wrong, but the problem continues even if I close and re-open minecraft and I have no way of fixing it.
