When adding candles to a cake, if you hold down right click it duplicates the candles infinitely

What I expected to happen was...:
the candle would remove itself from my inventory

What actually happened was...:
the candle stayed in my inventory and when I held right click on the cake a bunch of candles flew out!

Steps to Reproduce:
1. grab a cake and a candle of your choice (I used blue)
2. place down the cake
3. enter survival mode

4. use the candle on the cake and hold right click
