Floating sand placing while two pistons pushing at once

Two normal pistons pushing sand along, one above the other.

Using a clock of 14 redstone ticks (28 game ticks, 1.4 seconds)

Placed a sand block on the end of the piston push line, and it stuck in the air, even when moved by the other sand

Not too sure how this can be reproduced
