Unusual mob spawning in oceans

I loaded in the 20w45a snapshot, and about an hour later I found an unusually large amount of fish spawning in a single chunk, motionless, which appeared to be the cause of lag on the world. I tried killing them with /kill @e, which registered to the game's log, but didn't completely solve the issue, as they were still visually there, and the framerate didn't go up at all.

Can you provide the seed number for this world? And the F3 info?

Seed is -2393563048458677434, although the fish didn't spawn upon generation. As for the f3 info, I've relogged multiple times over time, and the mobs have despawned. Still am unsure on the cause, but the coordinates to the screenshot are -250, -135.

The part about them still being there visually is likely the same issue as MC-203880.

This does seem similar since the game doesn't recognize the entities. Something I did find interesting however, was that I was actually able to pick up the fish in a bucket and place them down. I'm not very familiar to which entity mechanics correspond to certain parts in the code, so if I do come across this again, I'll have to test this out.

@unknown, is this still an issue for you in 20w46a? MC-203880 was fixed in 20w46a, so this was probably fixed too.
