I've checked a few mangroves and haven't seen any frogs myself yet.
Just tried this myself and equipped an allay with a netherite helmet using the same method.
A friend of mine has a realms server on version 1.18.1 and this started happening to me today after exploring the Nether a bit for the first time.
I think the blending only works if you're upgrading from 1.17, not a snapshot version.
Found one myself. Adding a screenshot with F3 info. (I explored the nearby Ice Spikes and found lava coming out of a few of them too. Very odd to see.)
Pretty sure this is WAI since a lot of biomes have been consolidated for 1.18.
I found the same and thought it was just a rare thing I happen to come across, so I checked another stronghold in the same world and found it had no eyes either, and just found food and iron armor/tools as well.
That might be because you're using the enchantment table without any bookshelves around it to upgrade the possible enchants available, and don't have lapis. I just tested this and it enchanted as expected and putting books out gave me the other enchants as expected.

I've noticed a slight drop in performance myself since the last snapshot, and even the experimental snapshots. The experimental snaps ran surprisingly well for me at a higher than usual render distance even, and so did the first official snapshot. But this version, 21w38a, seems to be worse, probably because of the new simulation distance setting being added. I'm sure it'll work itself out as they work on it.
Can confirm the entity and bobber texture no longer appear, but the fishing rod mechanics still work. I caught a fish even though no bobber appeared and my rod texture remained the same.

Can confirm. It's kinda annoying to get suddenly shoved into the ground.
I don't think you can have Protection and Fire Protection on the same item at the same time. It has to be one or the other.
Scale down your GUI in the video settings. If it's set too large and your monitor resolution is too small this can happen.

This just happened to my friend's realm. A huge farm was built and come the next day it was reversed. No doubt bc of this same probelm of it not making backups.
