Candles don't get destroyed by flowing water or lava

yes, i know that sea pickles cant be destroyed by lava but its very strange, cause for example lever (wich is made from stone and stick) can be destroyed by lava and candle (wich is from honeycomb and string) cant be destroyed by lava.

The candle is waterloggable and no block in the history of waterlogging is able to be flushed away by water thus I think this works as intended
