Candles act like their own black and can float in mid air unlike other blocks like this (Sea pickles) and if you put a candle on a cake and right click the candle in survival (full hunger) it duplicates the candles

As for the candles being duped bug, it is currently being tracked in MC-203568.

Please put only one bug report in each ticket. It is very difficult to keep track of bugs when they are not in their own tickets.
