if you try to play in the new snapshot and you invite someone to play in lan with you, when you join in the friend's world you will fall trough the map and you will disconnect, ALWAYS

I'm getting this as well not just on lan, but on a multiplayer server.
My friend will join, and right as they load, they'll disconnect (timed out).
I got at max one other person, but it wouldn't let any others on.
