Redstone Dust has pixels missing in the texture

Hi, I believe it has always been like this, that is just the texture of redstone.

I know it has always been like this, but it looks weird.

Have Mojang confirmed this to be intentional? This seems like your run-of-the-mill logical texture issue, like MC-226441 and MC-159743. I'd say this should be reopened.
