When I log into any version above 1.15.2, instead of seeing the nether update panorama background, I see the grainy version of the original panorama background. When I open a world, all kinds of blocks have that black and purple squares texture instead of the intended texture. Also, some of the blocks in my inventory fill up all of the inventory slot and are giant when I hold them. I can't think of anything that i did that would have caused this except add a couple new installations in the launcher. (1.8.9, 1.16.1)

I really don't know how it happened. The only things that I did were create a few new installations in the launcher. (1.8.9, 1.16.1)
I was Unable to Reproduce this issue. please make sure you do not have any texture packs enabled and then we will proceed forward!
This may be because you have an outdated texture pack
thank you for the help I had a texture pack installed on a different version and I guess it carried over.
