I was Unable to Reproduce this issue. please make sure you do not have any texture packs enabled and then we will proceed forward! 

This may be because you have an outdated texture pack

This Is because Thet are really small. If you Hit The Ground, it will show up, this is a texture bug

Say that again, I've already seen 6 different  tickets of it

If i put it into the hotbar, it looks like its been casted, but if I put It in my inventory, then it does not look like its been casted

I think this is an incomplete Ticket
