[MC-205569] Night vision doesn't work in the void

I can't see!

How to reproduce:
1. Go below bedrock
2. Drink night vision
The screen goes black.

Can't seem to reproduce, Night Vision works fine for me, the bedrock that seperates the overworld form the void becomes more visible for me.

Cannot reproduce this either. May be graphics card dependant though.

I was able to reproduce. This is a duplicate of MC-4647.

But I don't have blindness in these pictures.

Being in the void acts the same as having blindness.
