When you drive a minecarft over "diagonal" rails the minecart or the block inside of it constantly seems to flip around as it passes rails in different orientations. For example the lock of the chest or the face of the furnace changes as the minecart goes.
I testet this from 1.0 the Version were chest minecarts were addet up to the newest snapshot.
