My game suddenly lagged while on Hypixel, and then the text went blue and cryptic. What happened here?

This report is invalid as you are using a modified game version. In the screenshot you've provided, I noticed that there is a "***" next to your minecraft version and this means that your game is modified in some shape. Just to inform you, the bug tracker only handles issues relating with vanilla Minecraft (unmodified game version).

Your game, launcher or server is modified.
If you can reproduce the issue in a vanilla environment, please recreate the issue.
Any non-standard client/server/launcher build needs to be taken up with the appropriate team, not Mojang.
Any plugin issues need to be addressed to the creator of the plugin or resource pack.
If you have problems on large servers, such as The Hive and Hypixel, please contact them first as they run modified server software.
