Breaking bedrock in Minecraft isn't meant to be featured. Bedrock is meant to be unbreakable and it is meant to prevent players from falling out of the world. The main reason that bedrock breaks is due to some sort of headless piston weirdness. Bedrock can be prevented from breaking by preventing headless pistons from forming.
