Realms(429) error message everytime i try to open realms

I just bought a realm and it seemed to work with no issues until i left and tried to rejoin. Thats when i got the error message and ever since i have had no luck getting in, i just get the "realms (429)" error message. After googling i found that if i close minecraft for 30 minutes it works again but this is HIGHLY irritating and unreasonable. How can i fix this?
