If a player has two elytra with identical enchantments and they are full durability, you can put both into a grindstone and when you unenchant them, they become stacked.

the elytra both have unbreaking 3 and mending. Also what do you mean duplicates? I didnt go into creative mode and duplicate them if thats what you mean.
