An animal far away sounds softer but when I'm farther away from my cat, it sounds extremely loud. On versions 1.15.2 the Meow fades away the further I get. But on 1.16.5, the Cat Meow sound is loud like it's right next to you until you exceed past the sound distance it makes. This occurs no matter the Distance to the Cat. It'll still sound extremely loud.
