[MC-2123] sound is nothing but static everything is

My sound is buggerd up it all sounds like a big ccccckkk like a tv sound when its on a channel that doesnt work

Please don't report bugs as affecting future versions. You can't possibly have tested it.

This apparently is an issue with the newer version of Paul's 3D Sound System used in Minecraft 1.4.2 and PowerPC Macs. Try replacing minecraft.jar/paulscode/sound/codecs/CodecJOrbis.class with an older version, such as that from Minecraft 1.3.2.
