Creating new world with seed freezes Minecraft.

I'm trying to re-create a old world by using the seed: -4553180012390089508
But the program will never be finished, it just stops with the text:

"Loading world"
"Converting world"

I did leave for over 10 hours but still frozen, had to kill the program.
Tried multiple time with the same result.
