Creeper explosion

Hello Mojang,
3 or 4 days ago I saw a YouTuber playing minecraft, after a while he was playing, a creeper blowed up near villagers and an iron golem and he was about 16 blocks away.
Same thimng happened to me today, I was exploring a mineshaft, suddenly I heard a weak explosion and at the bottom right was written "explosion". Creeper was blown up while there weren't any player. Mineshaft was roughly under a village and the height was somehow the gold level. Both of these happened in hardcore mode.
