Firework rockets are rendered too dark while they're inside of blocks

The Bug:

Firework rockets are rendered too dark while they're inside of blocks.

Steps to Reproduce:

1. Launch some firework rockets below some non-transparent blocks.

2. Watch the firework rockets closely as they pass through the blocks.

3. Take note as to whether or not firework rockets are rendered too dark while they're inside of blocks.

Observed Behavior:

Firework rockets are rendered too dark.

Expected Behavior:

Firework rockets would not be rendered too dark.
