If you place down a drip leaf the big one then it will soon lag the game and then crash the game and if you try to leave the game then you will be stuck in the saving screen and then it takes forever to close the game completely.

Please could you attach the crash report which can be found in minecraft/crash-reports/crash-<DATE>-client.txt. If for some reason you cannot provide this, please attach the full launcher log which can be found in minecraft/launcher_log.txt. Supplying the team with this information would help them to determine what the problem is. Thanks!
This may have been fixed in 21w05b as MC-213788. Is this still an issue for you, @unknown?
I think that's a problem with your computer, it doesn't happen with me :/
