When I tried to sleep in a bed while a villager was in it:
No message popped up telling me I could only sleep during night and during thunderstorms.
Bed no longer worked.
Block updates stopped.
When I break a block nothing drops.
All mobs and entities stopped.
Could no longer damage mobs.
When I drop an item it is gone.
When I try to save and exit it gets stuck on the saving screen.

We're tracking this issue in MC-213788, so this ticket is being resolved and linked as a duplicate.
That ticket has already been resolved as Fixed. Please check the Fix Version/s field in that ticket to see in which version this behavior was or will be fixed.
