Top half of a small dripleaf can turn into a ghost block when placing it in water while the water is being removed

When a watersource is dipensed and retracted continuesly by a redstone clock's output, and the player places a small dripleave in said block, when the timing is correct, only the bottom half of the drip leave will break leaving the top half floating in the air.
