As of 21w06a, when teleporting long distances (completely out of the previous render distance in x/z) with commands, one of the following bugs may occur:
All chunks will fail to render except for a 3x3 square centered on the chunk the player is in.
Moving the player's position or view angle or toggling perspective fixes this bug.
All chunks fail to render
Moving around may address this in some areas (see the screenshot of the gaping hole in the landscape, centered on where I teleported to), but a world reload is required to completely fix things. F3+A does not seem to help here.
Note that entities in these chunks do render correctly.
