White tulips make light grey dye in a crafting grid

White tulips make light grey dye? This was fine before 1.14 when white dye wasn't a thing and instead bone meal was a dye, but now that bone meal isn't a dye and white dye exists, why do white tulips still craft into light grey dye? It made sense for white tulips to not make bone meal, as before bone meal was white dye and a fertilizer, but now this is just weird.
