When I tab out of the game while in a server, I get kicked with a blank reason

I have been experiencing this on my game a lot recently. Usually, when I am playing, If I press t to open chat and then tab out of the game to another window, I might come back to being kicked for a blank reason. This doesn't seem to happen as much if an Inventory menu is open. Sometimes this just happens when I join a server for the first time almost immediately and I have no idea why it happens because the kick reason is blank and it wont say what happened. I couldn't find anything about this online so I have no other choice but to come here and report the bug.

Edit: Normally I play with mods, but I checked if it was something to do with fabric and it isnt. This happens on the vanilla client with no modifications whatsoever. 

Edit 2: It isn't my wifi, this is happening on several different wifis
