I have just bought Minecraft off of an Amazon Gift Card. When I came on to minecraft.net to redeem it, I had an option to log in to a Mojang account which I did not have, and another option of using a Microsoft account. I chose the Microsoft Account and successfully redeemed it. When I downloaded Minecraft, I signed into this account with no problems but when it loaded up, it said that I couldn't join any 3rd Party Servers because I had to play with a Mojang Account. I am very confused why this is the case seen as I mainly bought this game for playing servers such as Hypixel and etc.
