Sometimes minecarts in mineshafts generate duplicated

Could you please provide seed and coordinates (and world generation settings in case it is not a default world)?

it don't happens any more, so i think its resolved

I had this happen to me as reported in MC-222621 in 21w14a, the coords for my world are as follows:

Seed: [3666029732016180003]
-977 -5 -1258

It happened to any minecart in that entire abandoned mine shaft. It does look like what it did was spawn two carts in the exact same spot, as when reviewing the screenshot of the two carts, one can tell that one cart is not on a rail.

I did how ever take this seed into a single player world and was not able to replicate the issue. It seems to be a small percentage of the time that this would occur.

I uploaded my region file for that mineshaft.

-Update: I did go back into that same region and found a separately generated mineshaft and found a duplicated minecart (screenshot 2021-04-08_13.53.36.png)

As I followed that second mineshaft, I left the region and entered a new region (r.-3.-3.mca) and the minecarts with chest were not duplicated, indicating that when this happens, it is isolated to that specific region file generation.

Reopened due to @unknown's comment, but did not change confirmation status since we don't have a reliable way to reproduce this yet.

I just witnessed this happen on mine. It is a 1.16 world but I removed chunks and regenerated with 1.17. I used a pickaxe to remove the rail underneath the minecart and then TWO chest minecarts separated. Their contents are identical. See screenshots.
