Launcher problem

I bought Minecraft for my friend in January on my account and it has worked up until today. it says "play demo" even though I paid 25 bucks and it worked earlier in the morning and when I try log in it gives a 504 error on mojang.  we tried  to log out and log back in but it seems to have deleted my account??
