Though I have owned the software for 9-10 years, and played it within the last few months, I am told I do not have a license.
Request for help is met with a request for email, screen name, and transaction ID, which I supply via return email.
I then receive an email in return asking for my email, screen name, and transaction ID. Again and again.

Nope. I follow all of that and Mojang support keeps asking for the same details again and again. It's almost like a robot is running their support system and has no idea how to respond to the request for help...
